for immediate release: MA Records is pleased to announce the signing of "Bling Crosbys." The Independent record label came to terms with the Columbus, Ohio-based trio, made up of Franc Aledia (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Bass Guitar), Shannon Smith (Guitar/Vocals) and Conan Burson (Drums/Vocals) in late February and is planning to release Bling Crosbys' debut record nationally. "This is a great fit for our label," explained Marco Aledia (President and founder/MA Records). "Bling is touring regionally and has been for over a year now. They have cultivated a wide fan base who will be very receptive to their debut release. We are very excited and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship."

Marco Aledia will be providing full service management as well and he and his staff will handle everything from radio promotion and tour support to booking. MA Records recently hired Michael Khurshid. Khurshid, served as Project Manager for International Recording Artist "BRACK" -featuring IndyCar Champ Kenny Brack. "It's exciting to work with so many people that are committed to our success," said Burson. "They are our family and that makes it even better"

Marco Aledia has brought on Jagermeister as an anchor sponsor for Bling Crosbys and Jagermeister Music will present all of the tour dates going forward. " We have supported Franc as a solo artist for years and when we saw and heard his full band Bling Crosbys, we had to be a part of it," said Adam Grayer (Marketing and Band Coordinator/Jagermeister Music).

"Obviously it's a pleasure to have Marco and MA involved in this thing," said Franc Aledia. "We did some great things in the past with AS IS, BRACK and my solo project, and Shiddy and I (Michael Khurshid) worked together for the Indy 500/Brack project. He's amazing at what he does. We never had a product that was able to tour and support some of the radio success we realized. We can with this project - being on the BMG tour - we already have a support tour in place and that's huge!"

Bling Crosbys will start recording immediately with a release tentatively scheduled for Summer '09. The first 100 people to sign up on the Bling Crosbys email list at www.blingcrosbys.com will receive advance copies of the CD and will also automatically register for VIP passes to the release party sponsored by MA Records and Jagermeister.
